SCOTT N. BALDASSANO

Scott is a co-founder and partner at B&B Law. He is an established attorney who focuses on various aspects of business law, including corporate transactional and employment law. Scott began his career as a litigator and moved into transactional work when he started his own firm in 2013. With his background in litigation, he utilizes a comprehensive approach when analyzing transactional issues to ensure that businesses are covered from every angle. Scott assists owners and operates in various business ventures by providing unique and individually crafted business solutions. This experience allows him to view each business as a whole and provide practical legal advice accordingly. Many lawyers approach the law in a vacuum, forgetting that it is only one aspect of a business. Scott’s past experiences on the inside of businesses allow him to see where the law and practical business decisions intersect. This allows him to assist his clients in making tactical business decisions to help the business thrive. This sort of insight allows him to serve as “out of house” general counsel for some of his clients to take a deeper role in helping the company grow. Scott regularly consults with companies to help them grasp a better understanding of how to structure their businesses. Scott has worked with various clients to legally form their businesses, create all necessary corporate documents, apply for tax documents, and draft and review various contracts dealing with employment, subcontractors, vendors and a multitude of other areas. Scott also works with various foreign businesses to break into the U.S. market. He provides counsel to these foreign businesses to provide a clear picture of what to expect in the U.S. market. He helps form the entities, create the required documents and navigate the world of banking and insurance required in the U.S. Scott serves as the corporate counsel for Snow Operating LLC, the operating company at Mountain Creek, and Big Snow America at The Meadowlands. During his time in this position, he has been able to assist Snow Operating in building a successful business working with ski resorts world-wide, negotiate a deal for the company to operate the Mountain Creek Ski Resort and secure a partnership with the owners at Big Snow America, the first indoor ski hill in the United States. Scott also serves as the general counsel for a large real estate management and development company. In this role, he has successfully negotiated and completed multiple commercial real estate deals, drafted all related agreements including sales contracts, leases and financing agreements.
